How will I know hypnotherapy will work?

There are different concepts t0 hypnotherapy, here at Mindcycle we use Solution Focused which is extremely effective and has strong results. We all share the philosophy that the best person to make changes to your life is you – this is the fundamentals of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy.

What is hypnotherapy?

We use a combination of talking therapy and hypnosis or trance.

What is hypnosis/trance?

Trance is something that we all do every day. We just don’t realise it! You may be reluctant to experience trance due to having seen it used on the stage or TV. But what actually happens during trance is that you are completely in control throughout the whole process. No hypnotherapist can make you do anything you don’t wish to do. You have to be on board with the all aspects of the process which is discussed prior to trance and also without your willingness and agreement, the therapy would not work.

How many sessions will I need?

This can be fluid and is not set in stone. We suggest a minimum of 6 sessions up to a maximum of 12. For phobias, it will be 4 sessions including the initial consultation. For smoking, it is a longer one-off session lasting up to 2 hours.

Why solution focused hypnotherapy?

Simply, because it is the best form of hypnotherapy and has the best efficacy and longevity in the results that are made by the clients. Your brain knows better than any therapist what is needed to help you move forwards in life and that is how Solution Focused Hypnotherapy works.
